About Eric

Eric has twenty-two years of experience and accomplishment in marketing, product management and related functions, with a particular focus on new product/new service introduction. Eric is focussed on improving the business effectiveness of communications and technology companies and applies his grasp of software, communications and networking technology as a means to that end.

He has brought new products to market in every aspect of the telecom industry - hardware, software, and services, and has performed both consumer marketing of communications services and business marketing of physical goods and software products. The consumer marketing involved complex segmenting, targeting and campaign execution in the multicultural marketing field, including the research, design and launch of AT&T's One Rate International plan in 1997.

Eric performed market research and managed optoelectronic products at AT&T Microelectronics (now Agere ) for nine years; obtained CFO organization experience and managed consumer calling plans in AT&T for six years; introduced new telecom software products during his two years at Telcordia ; and defined the telecom market strategy for a non-telecom specific major software vendor, PeopleSoft , for two years.

Eric has strategized and coordinated extensively with alliance partners, including BSS and OSS software vendors, systems integrators and platform partners; and is adept at building consensus both within and across company boundaries. He has positioned his employers and raised the awareness level of their presence and offers with industry analysts, trade press, and customers. With direct experience both as a manager and marketer of communications services, and as a vendor of CRM products, Eric is particularly well positioned to advise and consult CSPs regarding the application of technology to their business and marketing processes, and the redesign of those processes to enhance marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
